I was, and still am, honored to be a part of the July 2025 digital issue of Black Leather In Color with my submission, “Where BDSM & Religion Intertwine.”
Now, seeing it in physical print carries even greater weight. To be a part of something so wonderful and impactful, and to leave my own mark within BIPOC Leather history, is both humbling and deeply meaningful.
When I first wrote my blog series, Holy Kink & Sacred Sacrilege, exploring the complex relationship between BDSM, religion, shame, and spiritual identity, I never imagined those reflections would eventually find their way into the pages of a publication that has celebrated and preserved Black, Indigenous, Brown, and all POC Leather lives, stories, experiences, and contributions for decades.
Holding this issue in my hands is a powerful reminder that our voices matter. Our experiences matter. Our stories deserve to be documented, preserved, shared, and carried forward for future generations.

My deepest thanks to Black Leather In Color for creating space for these conversations and for its enduring commitment to uplifting BIPOC Leather communities. Its work preserves our legacy, strengthens our visibility, and ensures our contributions are not forgotten.
I am proud to have contributed to that legacy, grateful to be part of this ongoing history, and excited to continue the work of education, dialogue, and community building.

Thank you, Black Leather In Color, for allowing me to be a small part of something much larger than myself.
