As I reflect on Mobile Bleather Weekend, competing for and being entrusted with the title of Mr. Mobile Leather 2026, I keep coming back to one overwhelming truth:
No one reaches moments like these entirely alone.
While only one person walks onto the stage as a contestant, countless others stand behind them—encouraging, supporting, challenging, believing, and helping shape the person who ultimately wears the sash.

There are no words that could ever fully express what you were to me throughout this journey.
When anxiety threatened to overwhelm me, you were there. You listened while I vented. You reminded me why I began this journey in the first place. You encouraged me when self-doubt became louder than confidence. Even though Daddy should quit smoking, you still went out and got me my preferred brand of cigarettes to help calm my nerves. You patiently helped me practice my speech over and over again. You even made sure my handler was in Mobile when I needed her to be without me ever having to ask.
That is what continues to amaze me about you.
I didn’t have to tell you what I needed.
You already knew.
You anticipated it.
You acted on it.
You continue to support me in ways I never expected and in ways I will never forget.
Your service, attentiveness, love, and unwavering belief in me became one of the quiet strengths that carried me through this experience.
I love you more than words can adequately express, and I appreciate everything you did to help make this dream a reality.

Thank you for preserving and continuing a tradition that gives members of our Leather community opportunities to grow, to serve, and to be seen. The countless hours spent planning, organizing, judging, fundraising, volunteering, mentoring, and simply showing up often happen quietly, but they create experiences that leave lasting impacts on everyone fortunate enough to participate.
To my fellow contestants, thank you for sharing this journey with me. Standing beside each of you reminded me that competition and camaraderie are not opposites—they can coexist beautifully. Each of us stepped onto that stage carrying our own story, our own motivations, and our own desire to serve this community.
To the outgoing titleholders, and especially to my Sash Daddy, Oddly Otter—thank you for the guidance you’ve shared and for the example you’ve set through your service, not only for me but for my fellow contestants as well. Throughout the competition, you offered encouragement, reminded us to enjoy the experience, and demonstrated what it means to carry a title with humility and purpose.
You welcomed me into this lineage of titleholders not simply by placing a sash over my shoulder, but by entrusting me with the responsibility that comes with wearing it.
As I begin this journey as Mr. Mobile Leather 2026, I recognize that I inherit not just a title, but a legacy of service built by those who came before me.

With this title comes both privilege and responsibility.
I am here to represent, build, educate, and elevate Mobile’s Leather community while helping preserve and share its rich history.
Mobile has a Leather story that deserves to be told loudly and proudly. It is a story of resilience, community, service, expression, and connection. It is a story that belongs not only to those already within Leather spaces, but also to those who are curious, those who are exploring, and those who have yet to discover what Leather values and principles can mean in their own lives.
Through this title, I hope to bridge those spaces—honoring those who built this foundation, uplifting those who continue its work today, and creating visibility for those who have yet to discover that there is a place for them here.
It is an honor to now carry the title of Mr. Mobile Leather 2026, and I hope to serve it—and this community—with the same dedication, humility, and heart that so many have demonstrated before me.
